Risha Engineering Group, Inc. provided structural design and construction support for major improvements and renovations and Camp Lakota, a campsite for the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles located in Frazier Park, CA. The project included design and detailing of a new 8,000 sq. ft. dining hall, 24 sleeping cabin, 6 bathroom units, director’s office remodel, site utilities, accessibility upgrades, bus drop-off area, and flag pole relocation.
A-frame sleeping cabins emulate the peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains while the newly-designed dining hall brings the outdoors in with its high ceilings and ample natural lighting. Functionality, environmental consciousness, and comfort unite to provide the girls of the Greater Los Angeles Area with an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow together.
