Consulting Civil and Structural Engineering firm has an opening for an Associate and Senior Associate Engineer positions at Headquarters in Burbank for new construction and rehabilitation projects for office, retail, educational, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial buildings. Projects are located across the Western United States.
Associate
Duties include:
With little or no supervision from senior staff, prepare complete calculations within allotted hours and budget. Design and detail connections for all materials. Supervise preparation of construction documents by CAD personnel. Ensure that progress and plan check submittal packages are complete. Prepare well written technical reports. Demonstrate thorough understanding of building and material codes. Well versed in performance based advanced analytical techniques. A working knowledge of ASCE 41. Must have 5 – 8 years’ experience. BSCE, MSCE preferred. Must have California PE license.
