BSCE or BSME or BS Arch from an accredited US institution required – MSCE preferred
5-8 years experience
California PE required.
Participate in field visits to document existing Structural and MEP Systems. OSHPD experience is a plus.
Strong technical knowledge.
Demonstrated large project management capability.
Ability to manage technical staff.
Very well versed with applicable building codes and material handbooks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Duties include:
With little or no supervision from senior staff, prepare complete calculations within allotted hours and budget. Design and detail connections for all materials. Supervise preparation
of construction documents by CAD personnel. Ensure that progress and plan check submittal packages are complete. Lead construction period services, directing and managing RFI’s
and reviewing and approving field inspections and reports. Prepare well written technical reports. Demonstrate thorough understanding of building and material codes. Well versed
in performance based advanced analytical techniques. A working knowledge of ASCE 41. Must have 5 – 8 years experience. BSCE, MSCE preferred. Must have California PE license.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $33.00 – $55.00 per hour
