Consulting Civil and Structural Engineering firm has an opening for an Associate and Senior Associate Engineer positions at Headquarters in Burbank for new construction and rehabilitation projects for office, retail, educational, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial buildings. Projects are located across the Western United States.
Senior Associate – Principal Track position
Duties include:
Manage multiple projects including large institutional projects in multiple geographic locations. Supervise technical teams working on multiple projects. Must possess keen understanding of Code provisions, as well as advanced analysis and building evaluation techniques. Able and willing to prepare complete calculations and design and detail connections for all materials within allotted hours and budget. Participate and supervise the preparation of construction documents by engineers or CAD personnel. Ensure that progress and plan check submittal packages are complete. Preparing well written technical reports. Demonstrate effective communication skills with management, clients, and technical staff. Demonstrate management capability and ability to supervise other staff. Self-starter and Initiative. Demonstrate business development capabilities (new clients, project types, areas) by winning projects from new clients the first year. Must have SE title and 10-20 year experience. BSCE required; MSCE preferred.
Excellence in engineering and a team centered attitude are a must.
