Cal Lutheran University – New Science Building
Risha Engineering was retained to provide full structural engineering design and construction period services for this new California Lutheran University in Thousand oaks. The design is in progress at this time.

An enclosed bridge connects the Math and Sciences building to the second floor of the adjacent building to the north. Architectural features include glass enclosed, two story entry areas, glass enclosed feature stairs, and a building identification monument feature.
This building will house offices and labs with strict vibration criteria owing to sensitive equipment for many disciplines including:
• Biomechanics, organic synthesis
• Physiology, neuroscience
• Marine biology
• Cell and developmental genetics
• Exercise physiology ergometry
• Nuclear magnetic resonance
Other engineered features include a new on-grade exterior emergency generator with associated switchgear, tall screens concealing rooftop equipment and minor related site structures.
